Parmesan Crumb Chicken Recipe

So today I thought I would make something I have never made! I did get the recipe off pinterest! Absolutely amazing site! I am definitely not a perfect cook and usually hate making things. I know have been trying new recipes since becoming a sahm. I truly enjoy making a new meal and seeing if it turns out! Which surprisingly they all have!! I wanted to share this recipe with you because I feel it was quick, easy and yummy! It seriously has 4 ingredients! Which is pretty awesome if I say so!

1/4 cup shredded cheese

4 teaspoons bread crumbs italian style

3-4 boneless chicken breasts

1/2 cup mayo (I used miracle whip but it can be substituted with real mayo and sour cream.. I have heard all are amazing)

Using the miracle whip it was more tangy… so if you like real mayo… definitely go with that.. sour cream would be my next choice!

I preheated the oven to 425 degrees.

I covered a cookie sheet with foil (easy clean up!)

Placed my chicken on the cookie sheet

Mix the parmesan cheese and the miracle whip (or substitution)

cover the tops of the chicken breasts with mixture!! Can go heavy with it… makes the chicken really moist!

then lightly sprinkle the bread crumbs on top and place in oven!

Bake for about 20-30 minutes…

I had cut the pieces in half at about 20 minutes weren’t completely done so I put back for another 10.

I did chose to use the broil option on my oven for the last 5 minutes to bake the tops a little more til you see the crumbs getting cooked!

Viola! Parmesan Crumb Chicken

Eggs Galore

This year I decided that we were going to try a few tricks that were on Pinterest. Which by the way is my favorite site. I absolutely am obsessed. That is an understatement … it’s an addiction! Anyways, we used kool- aid packets! Which by the way smell great and is much easier with cleaning up!! You use one packet of whatever color you want to use… and 1/3 cup water! That simple! We also have an artist in our family she is 3! She used a whisk to hold the egg which was pretty easy for her to do it on her own! Well, until she learned she can stir so fast it spills the dye all over! Here is from our night!!

We even made a “yucky” brown one! All you have to do is mix, mix, mix! Pretty much until it turns yucky!

She was sooo proud to do it all by herself!

The whisk gave her confidence!!

She was a pro!

I was going to do one!! She was saying sooo pretty momma!

Our beautiful eggs!

She enjoyed this the most I think from Easter. Well besides the egg hunt the next day! Overall we had a great time!

Next year for sure we will be using koolaid! We will try to experiment with more colors!! Can’t wait for next year!

Handmade Wipes!

So here is a recipe that I have to make homemade wipes. They are just as good as the normal wipes you buy from the store. I actually hate Pampers wipes because of the chemicals that react or mix with my childs urine. It makes me gag! So in the end I chose to do this also to save money but because of the smell. They leave my hands really soft!! They are just wonderful!

Recipe Ingredients:

1 paper towel

container with good seal

1 tablespoon baby oil

1 teaspoon baby soap

2 cups water

knife to cut the paper towel (preferably non serated)

1. cut the paper towel in half doesnt have to be perfect you wont see the cut side mainly

2. mix the rest of the ingredients in the container

3. place paper towel in container with cut side down

4. put lid on container

5. flip it over until the paper towel is completely soaked with mixture

6. pull out the brown roll and pull the middle up

7. Viola! You have wonderful handmade wipes!!

I hope they save you money and work for you as much as they did me!
